Fairs and Festivals

Traditional festivals for contemporary entertainment, and fairs that show the town's economic vitality.

Throughout the year you can visit Vilafranca and find a fair, a festival, or an event that usually has traditional roots, and that ensures among other things, good entertainment for participants.

Every season of the year has its singular event. We start the year with the Twelfth Night Procession (Cavalcada de Reis), we continue with the Festes de Sant Raimon, we fight the cold with the Xató Festival, we start to see the good weather with the May Fair, we welcome the summer with Vijazz, we reach the high point with the Festa Major and we practically close the year with the Rooster Fair.

In between other fiestas, fairs and festivals, as well as the Castellers (human towers) Days of each local group, which accompany the people of Vilafranca and visitors to the town to enjoy the leisure offering during the twelve months of the year.

This diversity of fairs and festivals offers us a variety of themes, enabling each visitor to find what interests them most, what attracts them most, from music to cuisine, from human towers to film, from commercial activities to the attraction of sector fairs, from the overindulgences of Carnaval to the festival in capital letters, the Festa Major.
